Established in 1992, Meimei Battery is a high-tech enterprise specializing in the R&D, production, and sales of lead-acid batteries. With an initial investment of 30 million US dollars and a factory covering 60,000 square meters, we expanded our footprint in 2006 by establishing a second VRLA battery production base in Changsha, Hunan. Today, we employ over 2,000 experienced professionals and achieve a monthly production capacity equivalent to 2.5 million 7Ah batteries, serving a global customer base across Asia, Europe, and the Americas. Our core strength lies in our unwavering focus on quality and innovation. Our R&D team, comprising experts in basic research, battery design, and testing, operates two advanced laboratories to develop robust, durable products. We maintain full production control—manufacturing lead alloys, molds, and components in-house—supported by automated QA/QC systems, ensuring consistent quality from raw materials to finished goods. This commitment has earned us certifications including ISO9001, ISO14001, and OHSMS18001, with products certified by UL, CE, VdS, NEBS, and more. We specialize in VRLA technologies, including AGM and gel batteries, with diverse series (BP, HR, Zelus, Spur, etc.) tailored for UPS, telecommunications, electric vehicles, solar energy, medical equipment, and industrial traction. Our batteries power five of the world’s top UPS manufacturers, reflecting our reliability and performance. Beyond production, we prioritize sustainability through wastewater treatment and recycling systems, air purification and dust collection facilities, and comprehensive solid waste management, aligning with our ISO14001 environmental certification. Socially, we actively support underprivileged communities by funding infrastructure and educational projects for children, and partner with organizations like Médecins Sans Frontières and Orbis to advance global healthcare and vision initiatives.
