The GB12/120B.B. battery is a high-performance VRLA battery in the Zelus GB series. It adopts gel electrolyte technology, where sulfuric acid is mixed with silica fume to form a fixed gel-like substance, effectively eliminating common problems such as electrolyte evaporation, overflow, and subsequent corrosion in traditional wet batteries. At the same time, antimony in the battery lead plates is replaced with calcium, significantly reducing gas release while maintaining mechanical properties, and cooperating with a valve regulation system to precisely control gas discharge, enhancing safety in use.
The battery has excellent environmental adaptability and durability, can resist extreme temperatures, impacts and vibrations, supports both horizontal and vertical installation methods, and meets diverse scene requirements. Under normal working conditions, the expected service life is up to 12 years, and the number of cycles can reach 2500 times. According to the Eurobat standard, it belongs to the category of long-life batteries. As a deep-cycle lead-acid battery, it is developed with solid lead coating technology and gel electrolyte, aiming to provide maximum capacity and stable discharge cycles. The nominal capacity is 120Ah at 20-hour rate (114Ah at 10-hour rate), and the capacity ranges from 6.5 to 210Ah (specifically depending on the series).
