Zelus GB Series GB12/30B.B. battery is a VRLA (valve-regulated lead-acid) battery with a gelled electrolyte. The electrolyte is a mixture of sulfuric acid and silica fume, forming a gel-like fixed substance, effectively eliminating common problems such as electrolyte evaporation, overflow, and subsequent corrosion of traditional wet batteries. At the same time, the battery has stronger resistance to extreme temperatures, impact, and vibration. The valve adjustment system allows safe gas discharge, and antimony in the lead plate is replaced by calcium, reducing gas release while maintaining mechanical properties.
The GB12/30B.B. battery, as a member of the GB series, has many advantages.It is developed with solid lead coating technology and gel electrolyte and is a deep-cycle lead-acid battery designed to provide maximum capacity and discharge cycles. Under normal working conditions, GB series batteries are expected to have a service life of up to 12 years and up to 2500 cycles, with a very long service life according to Eurobat standards. Its capacity ranges widely (6.5-210Ah, depending on the series and different discharge rates such as C2, C5, C8, C10, C20, C100, etc.). The nominal capacity of this model GB12/30 is 28.5Ah at the 10-hour rate and 30Ah at the 20-hour rate. The battery can be flexibly installed in horizontal and vertical positions, enhancing the convenience of application.The battery also features enhanced durability and heavy-duty deep cycle capability, good high-temperature stability, high mechanical strength and low acid displacement, excellent deep discharge performance, and is equipped with a patented safety valve to precisely control pressure, further extending battery life.
