GB12/30B.B. battery is a valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery with gel electrolyte technology in the Zelus GB series. The core technology of this series lies in its gelified electrolyte, which is formed by mixing sulfuric acid with silica fume to create a fixed, non-flowing gel-like substance. This design fundamentally solves the common problems of electrolyte evaporation, leakage, and the resulting corrosion in traditional flooded batteries. Meanwhile, the gel structure endows the battery with excellent performance, including stronger resistance to extreme temperatures, as well as excellent impact and vibration resistance.Its valve regulation system can safely discharge the internal gas generated, ensuring safe use. In structure, the GB series batteries use calcium to replace antimony in the lead plates, which not only maintains the mechanical strength of the plates but also significantly reduces the gas evolution rate during charging. As a deep-cycle lead-acid battery, GB12/30 is designed to provide maximum capacity and excellent cycle life. In normal working conditions, its designed service life can reach 12 years, or achieve up to 2500 deep discharge cycles, reflecting the characteristics of long life and reliability. Specifically, this battery has a nominal voltage of 12 volts, a nominal capacity of 30 Ah at the 20-hour rate, and 28.5 Ah at the 10-hour rate.Its compact size design facilitates installation, with length, width, and total height being 195 mm, 129 mm, and 178.6 mm respectively, and a weight of approximately 11.3 kg. The battery is equipped with standard B7 terminals and offers the option of I2 terminal type to meet different connection requirements.
