B.B. Battery HRL series VRLA batteries are produced in a 12-volt overall form. HRL15-12, as one of the series, has excellent performance and reliability. The battery case is made of opaque impact-resistant ABS plastic. The battery cover is firmly connected to the case, and the terminal area is sealed to ensure safe use. The battery cover has six holes for filling electrolyte during the production process, and then a pressure relief valve is installed. The pressure relief valve is made of non-combustible materials, which can effectively ensure high-level fire and explosion safety.
The positive and negative plates of the HRL15-12 battery are both coated with a paste coating. Combined with the absorbed glass mat separator technology, it achieves efficient gas recombination, has maintenance-free characteristics, no need to add water, and no free acid, and belongs to a leak-proof battery. The battery can be installed in multiple orientations (except inverted), and both horizontal and vertical positions can be adapted to different usage scenarios.
In terms of performance, HRL series batteries provide high specific output power in short-distance discharge mode, are very suitable for applications in uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), and it is recommended to use them when the backup time is up to 60 minutes. Its discharge power (from 15 minutes to 1.3 V/cell) ranges from 132 to 5205 W per unit (series range). The 10-hour capacity of HRL15-12 is 13AH, and the power density is 30% higher than that of the BP series at the 5-15 minute discharge rate. Under normal working conditions, the expected service life of HRL series batteries is up to 12 years, which meets the Eurobat standards for long service life.
