GBS12/75B.B. battery is part of the Zelus GBS series. This product adopts Valve-Regulated Lead-Acid (VRLA) technology, with its core being the use of gelified electrolyte. By mixing sulfuric acid with silica fume, a stable, non-flowing gel-like substance is formed. This GEL battery design almost completely avoids the common electrolyte evaporation and overflow issues of traditional flooded batteries, thereby effectively preventing the corrosion problems caused by these issues. Meanwhile, gel batteries exhibit superior performance, including stronger extreme temperature resistance, and excellent shock and vibration resistance. Its valve regulation system can safely vent the gas generated inside the battery.Structurally, it is similar to unsealed wet batteries, but the key difference is that calcium replaces antimony in the lead plates. This change, while retaining excellent mechanical properties, significantly reduces the battery's gas evolution tendency. This series of batteries is available in 6V or 12V integral forms, with a wide capacity range from 7Ah to 225Ah, providing users with flexible choices. Installation is also extremely convenient, supporting both horizontal and vertical positions. Under normal operating conditions, the expected float charge service life of GBS series batteries can reach 12 years. If used in cyclic charge-discharge scenarios, the cycle life can be as high as 2500 cycles, which, according to the Eurobat standard, falls into the category of long service life.Its nominal capacity is based on different discharge rates, such as C2, C5, C10, C20, C100, etc., and the specific values vary by series.
