Zelus GBS Series GBS12/85B.B. battery is a VRLA battery with gelled electrolyte. It forms a gel-like fixed electrolyte by mixing sulfuric acid with silica fume, effectively eliminating common problems of wet batteries such as electrolyte evaporation, overflow, and corrosion. It uses calcium to replace antimony in the lead plate, reducing gas generation while maintaining mechanical properties, and cooperates with a valve regulation system to achieve safe gas discharge.
As a deep cycle lead-acid battery, this product is developed with solid lead coating technology and gel electrolyte, aiming to provide maximum capacity and discharge cycle performance.The expected service life under normal working conditions exceeds 12 years, with up to 2500 cycles, and the capacity range covers 7 to 225Ah (specifically depends on different hour rates such as C2, C5, C8, C10, C20, C100, etc. The nominal capacity of this model GBS12/85 is 85Ah/10 hour rate). The battery supports horizontal and vertical installation, and the application scenarios are flexible.
