The EP40-12EP series VRLA battery is a high-performance 12V integrated lead-acid rechargeable battery, part of the low-maintenance EP product line under B.B. Battery, and is renowned for its excellent cycle life. This series offers a wide range of capacities, from 7 Ah to 100 Ah. The nominal capacity of the EP40-12 model is 40 Ah at a 20-hour rate, 34 Ah at a 5-hour rate, and it can still provide 20 Ah of energy at a 30-minute high-rate discharge, fully demonstrating its high-power output characteristics.
The battery has a sturdy and reliable structure. The outer case is made of impact-resistant, opaque ABS plastic. The battery cover is tightly connected to the case, and the terminal area is sealed, ensuring overall safety.Its terminal design is flexible. The standard configuration is a B2-type terminal located at position 7, while multiple optional terminal types such as I1 and I2 are also available to meet different installation requirements. The six holes on the battery cover are electrolyte filling ports during production; after filling, a pressure relief valve made of non-combustible materials is installed. This design not only enables efficient internal gas recombination, eliminates free acid, making it a truly leak-proof battery, but also significantly enhances the product's fire and explosion safety ratings.
