EP80-12 EP Series B.B. Battery VRLA Battery is a 12V integral sealed lead-acid battery, part of the EP Series. This series has capacities ranging from 7 to 100 Ah, designed specifically for high-requirement applications. This battery adopts a low-maintenance design with an excellent cycle life, providing up to 2000 cycles under normal operating conditions, ensuring long-term reliable power supply.
The battery casing is made of sturdy and impact-resistant ABS plastic, ensuring good physical protection. The battery cover is tightly connected to the casing, and the terminal area is specially sealed to effectively prevent leakage.Terminal design varies by model. EP80-12 is standard with a type B3 terminal at position 15, and type I2 is also available as an option. Six holes on the battery cover are used for electrolyte filling during production; after completion, a dedicated pressure relief valve made of non-combustible material is installed. This design not only achieves maintenance-free operation without requiring users to add water, but also ensures no free acid inside through efficient gas recombination technology, completely eliminating the risk of leakage and providing high-level fire and explosion safety.
The core uses pasted-type positive and negative plates with absorbent glass fiber separator technology, optimizing performance and reliability.The battery is flexibly installed, supporting horizontal and vertical placement (except inversion), which facilitates equipment integration. The EP80-12 performs excellently in technical parameters, with a nominal voltage of 12V. In terms of capacity, it can reach 80Ah under 20-hour rate discharge, 68Ah at 5-hour rate, and still provide 40Ah at a high-load 30-minute rate, demonstrating its high power output characteristics.
