GBC12/100B.B. Battery is a valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery in the Zelus GBC series that adopts advanced gel electrolyte technology. The core of this battery lies in its gelified electrolyte, where the mixture of sulfuric acid and silica fume results in the electrolyte being in a stable gel state and remaining fixed. This technological innovation almost completely eliminates common issues such as electrolyte evaporation, overflow, and the resulting corrosion problems in traditional flooded batteries. Meanwhile, GEL technology endows the battery with stronger environmental adaptability, including excellent resistance to extreme temperatures, impact, and vibration. Its valve-regulated system can safely discharge the internally generated gases.Compared with traditional wet unsealed batteries, the GBC series replaces antimony with calcium in the lead plates. This change not only retains the excellent mechanical properties of the lead plates but also significantly reduces the battery's gas evolution tendency, thereby enhancing safety and stability. As a member of the GBC series, GBC12/100 is a 12V single-cell battery with a nominal capacity of 100Ah (5-hour rate). It has a compact design with dimensions of 407mm (length) x 173mm (width) x 210mm (height) and a total weight of approximately 39kg, making it easy to integrate into various equipment systems. The battery supports multiple installation methods, both horizontal and vertical, providing flexibility for equipment layout.Under normal operating conditions, this battery has an ultra-long float charge service life of over 12 years.
