Zelus GBC Series GBC12/135B.B. battery is a VRLA battery using gel electrolyte. The electrolyte is a mixture of sulfuric acid and silica fume, in a gel state and stationary, effectively eliminating common problems of wet batteries such as electrolyte evaporation, overflow, and subsequent corrosion. At the same time, the battery has stronger resistance to extreme temperatures, shocks, and vibrations. The valve regulation system can safely discharge gas. Antimony in the lead plates is replaced by calcium, reducing gas generation while maintaining mechanical properties, and the performance is more stable.
As a deep-cycle lead-acid battery, the GBC series is produced in 6V or 12V as a whole, with a capacity range of 5.75 to 180Ah (specific capacity is based on different rates such as C2, C5, C8, C10, C20, C100, depending on the series), supports horizontal and vertical installation, with high flexibility. Under normal working conditions, the expected service life exceeds 12 years, the number of cycles is as high as 2500 times, complies with Eurobat standards, and has an extremely long service life.
