The GBS12/110B.B. battery belongs to the Zelus GBS series and is a valve-regulated lead-acid (VRLA) battery with gelified electrolyte. Its core technology involves mixing sulfuric acid with silica fume to form a fixed, immobile gel-like electrolyte. This gel battery design almost completely avoids the common electrolyte evaporation and overflow problems of traditional flooded batteries, effectively preventing the corrosion caused by these issues and significantly enhancing the battery's ability to withstand extreme temperatures, impacts, and vibrations.
