B.B. Battery VRLA Battery BPS10-12 is a model in the BPS10-12BPS series. The series is produced as a 12V unit, with a capacity range covering 5 to 230 Ah, meeting the power requirements of different application scenarios. This battery adopts an opaque impact-resistant ABS plastic shell, with the battery cover firmly connected to the shell. The terminal area is sealed to ensure structural stability. Its terminal design varies according to the series and type. Six holes on the battery cover are used for electrolyte filling during production, followed by installing a pressure relief valve made of non-combustible materials, effectively ensuring the battery has high-level fire and explosion safety.
In terms of internal structure, both positive and negative plates of BPS10-12 are coated with a paste-like coating, and absorbent glass fiber separator technology is adopted, enabling efficient gas recombination. This makes the battery maintenance-free, requiring no water addition, free of free acid, and a reliable leak-proof battery. Its self-discharge rate is extremely low, with a monthly capacity loss of less than 3%, facilitating long-term storage. The battery has high installation flexibility, can be installed in horizontal and vertical positions, even used in any direction except inverted, which provides convenience for the integration of various devices.
BPS10-12 has an expected service life of over 12 years under normal operating conditions and is classified as a long-life product according to Eurobat standards. Its nominal capacities are 10 Ah at 20-hour rate, 9.5 Ah at 10-hour rate, and 8.5 Ah at 5-hour rate, with a weight of approximately 3.3 kg or 7.28 lbs.
